It's that time again!...

I had a quick trip to the local stream this afternoon, i managed five fish on the dry, all taking a 14's Adams. I didn't take any pictures of the fish as they were mostly smaller residents, the only ones rising and i didn't fancy prospecting with the Nymph, i did however take a picture of the first Mayfly of the year!

I counted a dozen or so newly hatched and only a couple of spinners, i have a little more time on my hands tomorrow so I'll hopefully be heading back to the same stream i fished with Adam last weekend, i think I'll call it "land of the giants!"...

Maybe I'm being a little optimistic but i couldn't help tie a couple of Mays up tonight, just in case you understand, one can only hope!...

A quick snap:-

A couple of 12's and a couple 8's, i seem to have run out of 10's(and brown thread for that matter!). So here's hoping the weather stays kind tomorrow, if so I'll report back in the next couple of days!

Cheers,

Graham
